Suspect caught on surveillance camera vandalizing the front doors of the Colorado River Sheriff's Station

INCIDENT: Felony Vandalism/Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance
LOCATION: Colorado River Station - 1111 Bailey Avenue, Needles
SUSPECT(S): Michael John Craig, age 40 a resident of Mohave Valley, AZ
VICTIM(S): San Bernardino County Sheriff - Coroner Department
SUMMARY: On October 11, 2017 at approximately 5:27 am, the suspect, Michael John Craig was seen on station video surveillance loitering in the courtyard area outside of the station when he picked up a rock and and struck the front glass door shattering it. Deputies immediately responded to the area, located the suspect and took him into custody without incident. Craig was arrested and booked into the Needles Jail for felony vandalism and being under the influence of a controlled substance. He is being held on $25,000.00 bail and is scheduled for court on October 13th.
