The Newark Police Department is releasing information about recent crime and police activity that has occurred within our community. 
October 7th
07:37 Officer Johnson investigated the theft of a Honda Generator from a work truck at the Residence Inn, 35466 Dumbarton Court.
1037 Hours: Officer Mapes contacted and arrested a 28 year old Newark female for her outstanding felony warrant during a security check at the EZ-8 Motel, 5555 Cedar Court. The suspect was booked into the Fremont Jail.
1217 Hours: Officer Mapes contacted and arrested a 34 year old Newark Male for his outstanding warrant on the 6100 block of Rockrose Drive. The suspect was issued a citation and released.
1715 Hours: Officer D. Johnson investigated a non-injury auto accident on Central Avenue at Sycamore Street.
2010 Hours: Officer Rivera investigated an auto burglary that occurred four days ago on the 36300 block of Bridgepointe Drive. The loss was a 3 pairs of prescription glasses and a Chevron gas card.
