LOWER LAKE, Calif. – October 10, 2017
The Lake County Department of Social Services (LCDSS) is able to assist fire impacted individuals with CalFresh Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) replacement benefits and applications. CalFresh replacement benefits are available to current CalFresh recipients who lost food due to the impact of the fires (such as power outage). Expedited CalFresh applications are available to low income households who do not already have benefits.
