There are a series of major fires burning in Sonoma County and Napa County. The Novato Police Department has sent resources to help with evacuations and lifesaving efforts. We are prepared to send additional resources as necessary. As a result, Novato PD officers will only be responding to priority calls where life safety is threatened. Non priority activity will be suspended until we can resume normal activity. Please continue to call the police department and we will advise whether we can respond.
