A traffic stop leads to arrest of a felony probationer in possession of Heroin, Cocaine, pills and large amt of cash

LOCATION: Roy Rogers Drive/Amargosa Road
SUSPECT: Tony Carl Calloway, 53-year old Victorville resident
SUMMARY: On October 6, 2017, Deputy J. Dean, with the Victorville Police Department, observed a white Honda Accord being driven at a high rate of speed. He conducted a traffic stop on the Honda near the intersection of Roy Rogers Drive and Amargosa Road.
As Deputy Dean began to approach the Honda the driver, Tony Carl Calloway, exited the vehicle and became aggressive. After detaining Calloway, Dean determined he was on felony probation. During a search of Calloway’s vehicle deputies discovered Methamphetamine, Heroin, Cocaine, multiple pills, a scale and a large amount of cash.
Calloway was arrested and booked at High Desert Detention Center for possession of narcotics for sale, possession of cocaine base for sale, and possession of a controlled substance for sale. He is scheduled to appear in Victorville Superior Court on October 11, 2017.
