Big Sioux River Near Brookings Big Sioux River above Hawarden Big Sioux River At Akron .The following river forecasts include forecast precipitation through tonight. Any additional future rains could affect the crest forecasts. Due to moderate to heavy rainfall the past couple days, river stages on the Big Sioux River at Brookings, Hawarden, and Akron will continue rising above flood stage this weekend. The Flood Warning continues for The Big Sioux River above Hawarden.
* Until Tuesday morning.
* At 9 AM Saturday the stage was 20.7 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 19.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will rise to 21.0 feet by Sunday October 8. &&
* AFFECTED AREAS: PLYMOUTH ... SIOUX
