Arrest for drug possession / possession for sales / child endangerment

On Thursday, October 5, 2017 at approximately 1615 hours, CPD officers conducted a search of a residence in the 2700 block of Bethel Avenue in regards to a possible child endangerment.  Officers contacted the resident, Chase Tyson Aguilar (age 34) who was on house arrest for a narcotics offense. 
 
During the search of the residence, officers located approximately 18.6 grams of suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia consistent with narcotics sales. Aguilar had his nine year old child living at the residence where the narcotics and paraphernalia were located.  Aguilar’s child was later turned over to the custody of Child Protective Services.  
 
Aguilar was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance for sales, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and child endangerment.   He was transported and booked at the Kings County Jail in Hanford, CA with a total bail amount of $125,000.00.
