Detectives are investigating a shooting near Gators Sports Bar; two subjects suffered gunshot wounds

LOCATION: 21000 block of Bear Valley Rd., Apple Valley
SUSPECT(S): Unknown
SUMMARY:
On Friday, October 6, 2017 at 1:35 a.m. deputies responded to reports of shots fired in the 21000 block of Bear Valley Rd. near Gators Sports Bar. Deputies arrived and made contact nearby with an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg. While gathering information at the scene, deputies were advised of a second male subject at St. Mary’s Hospital, also suffering a gunshot wound to the leg.
Deputies spoke with both of the injured subjects, but due to their uncooperative nature, deputies have been unable to identify a suspect. Deputies located evidence that numerous rounds were fired in the area of Gators Sports Bar.
