Pink Patch Project

For the first time, the Campbell Police Department will be participating in the Pink Patch Project (#PinkPatchProject). The goal of the Pink Patch Project is to increase awareness about the life-saving benefits of early detection as well as intervention in the fight against cancer.

We recently designed a pink Campbell Police patch to be worn on our police uniforms during the month of October to show support for cancer awareness. The Campbell Police Department has the added goal of raising funds from the sale of our pink patch where 100% of the proceeds go directly to fund the research, treatment, and education needed to help find a cure.

Our hope is that the pink version of our uniform patch will stimulate conversation with the community, encouraging public awareness about the on-going fight against this disease.

We have a very limited supply of patches for the public to purchase and they are going fast. The patches cost $10 each and will be available at the Campbell Police Foundation Breakfast on October 14th (http://campbellpolicefoundation.org/breakfast-fundraiser/) and at the Police Foundation’s “Dunk a Cop” booth at the Downtown Campbell Oktoberfest on October 21st.
