Evansville woman arrested on theft charge. 
On October 1, 2017, at 9:42 p.m. Gibson County Central Dispatch received a 911 report of a fight at the Flying J Truck stop located at the intersection of US 41 and County Road 1250 South in Gibson County. Upon arriving Deputy Jennifer Loesch from the Gibson County Sheriff’s Office and Haubstadt Police Department Officer Kevin Cox opened an investigation. During the investigation it was determined that 25 year old Devon McFarland had refused to pay the cab driver who transported them to the truck stops. At the end of her investigation Deputy Loesch transported Ms. McFarland to the Gibson County Jail where she was charged with False Informing and Theft. She remains in the Gibson County Jail on a $650 bond.
All Criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
