Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide detectives are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the double murder that occurred Saturday, September 30, 2017 at 1:46 a.m., on the 43000 block of 6^th Street E, Lancaster.
 
Multiple search warrants have been served in the furtherance of this double murder investigation.  Detectives are continuing to actively follow up leads in this matter and no arrests have been made at this time. 
 
The investigation is ongoing and there is no additional information available at this time.

Homicide detectives are continuing their investigation into the double murder that occurred in the 43000 block of 6^th Street East in the city of Lancaster. 

 

Detectives have learned Lancaster Station Deputies responded to the location regarding a call of an assault with a deadly weapon, with gunshot victims down.  Upon arriving, they found a female and male gunshot victim lying in the street.  Both appeared to be in their early 20’s or late teens.  They were both suffering from at least one gunshot wound each to the upper body.  Fire department personnel responded and both victims were pronounced dead at the scene. 

 

Multiple witnesses were identified and are currently assisting detectives.  No weapons were recovered from the scene.

 

There is no suspect information available for release at this time.
