On September 23, 2017 at approximately 6:46 AM, Corcoran Police were called to Sunshine Donuts located at 928 Whitley Avenue for a report of a robbery which had just occurred. Upon arrival officers learned that a masked male suspect entered the store and stole the cash register. The suspect was wearing a dark colored jacket, blue jeans and a ball cap. After fleeing the store the suspect left the area in a white pick-up truck. On September 28, 2017 at approximately 5:20 AM Corcoran Police were called to the Shell Gas Station located at 1221 Whitley Avenue for a report of an armed robbery. Upon arrival officers learned two masked gun men entered the store and held the clerk at gun point. The clerk opened the cash register and one of the male suspects took an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspects then fled the store. Both suspects were seen wearing dark clothing and masks. Anyone who witnesses any suspicious subjects and/or activity is encourage to call 911 immediately.
