Fight call leads to arrest of two. (UPDATED.)

On September 23rd, 2017 at 4:45 a.m. a fight was reported at the Oakland City Denny`s. Special Deputy Zach Lienemann arrived and spoke with a witness and was advised the suspect vehicle was a red Chevy passenger vehicle that had left headed west on State Road 64. Special Deputy Zach Lienemann left the scene and caught up with the vehicle matching that description in Francisco and initiated a traffic stop.

Upon approaching the vehicle Deputy Lienemann identified the driver as 23 year old Sean Whitehead of Francisco. While speaking with Mr. Whitehead Deputy
Lienemann observed blood on Mr. Whitehead’s face from a gash on his forehead. While speaking with Mr. Whitehead, Deputy Lienemann detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from the driver.

Sgt. John Fischer arrived to assist Deputy Lienemann and opened a roadside investigation. During the investigation it was discovered that Mr. Whitehead and a passenger 23 year old Jennifer Dobbins of Princeton had been in the physical altercation at Dennys. Mr. Whitehead was transported to the Gibson County Jail by Sgt. Fischer and charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated. Mr.Whitehead remains in custody on a $450 bond. Deputy Lienemann went to speak with witnesses at the scene and collected statements before arresting Ms. Dobbins on a battery charge. She was also transported to the scene and remains in custody on a $650 bond.

All Criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
