Police Seek the Public’s Help in Locating Missing Newark Woman
Newark Public Safety Director Anthony F. Ambrose reports that police are seeking the public’s assistance locating, Cynthia Grant, 64, of Newark, who was reported missing today.
Cynthia Grant is 5’1” tall and weighs 110 lbs. She was last seen at approximately 5:30 this morning leaving her residence in the 200 block of Clinton Place. She was last seen wearing a black wig, white T-shirt and light blue jeans with a flower print. She suffers from Epilepsy and Alzheimer’s disease and requires medication.
While police are actively searching for Cynthia Grant, we seek the public’s assistance in quickly locating and returning her to her family. Ms. Grant is known to frequent the 200 block of Littleton Avenue where she once lived.
Director Ambrose urges anyone with information about Ms. Grant’s whereabouts to call the Department's 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477) or 1-877-NWK-GUNS (1-877-695-4867). All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
