Yesterday, members of Sheriff Victor Hill's Crime Suppression Unit received intelligence that Corey Humes who was wanted for murder out of Houston County was sitting in a vehicle in the QT parking lot located on Upper Riverdale.   

Humes shot and killed a man after drug deal that went bad.  Houston County Authorities advised that Humes was armed and they felt if given the opportunity he would open fire on Deputies.

Humes did not stand a chance.  Deputies surrounded him so quickly that he did not have time to reach for the 32 caliber Beretta that his girlfriend Chassity Thomas was sitting on.   

Both were taken into custody and both faced the wall at Georgia's toughest para-military jail until Houston County Deputies came to take them out of Clayton County.
