Specialized Detectives investigating the death of a Joshua Tree man

LOCATION: Dirt extension of Aberdeen Drive East of Sunfair Road, Joshua Tree
VICTIM: Jesse Stoneburner, age 32 a resident of Joshua Tree
SUMMARY:
On Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at approximately 11:10 am, deputies from the Morongo Basin Sheriff’s Station responded to Aberdeen Drive east of Sunfair Road for a report of a body found in the area. When deputies arrived, they located a white male adult deceased at the scene.
Due to the suspicious circumstances, detectives from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, Specialized Investigations Division, Homicide Detail were requested and are conducting the investigation. An autopsy will be conducted to determine cause and manner of death.
