INCIDENT: Terrorist Threats, Resisting an Executive Officer

LOCATION: Center Street

SUSPECT: Darlene Jones, 45-year old Victorville transient

VICTIM(S): Confidential: 56-year old Male

SUMMARY:

On September 19, 2017, deputies from the Victorville Police Department responded to a disturbance call on Center Street, near Seventh Street.

The male victim had pulled his truck to the side of the roadway to answer a phone call. The suspect, Darlene Jones, was sitting on the curb nearby. The subject approached the victim’s truck with a brick in hand and told him if he did not leave she was going to harm him. The suspect then threw the brick at the truck and continued to threaten the victim. Deputies arrived at the location and attempted to detain the suspect. The suspect kicked one of the deputies several times while being detained. The suspect was pepper sprayed and taken into custody.

The victims did not require medical attention. The suspect was attended to at the scene by medical personnel and subsequently arrested. She was booked at High Desert Detention Center for terrorist threats and resisting an executive officer.
