Suspect: Unknown White Male
Incident Summary:
On September 20, 2017, at approximately 1:23 AM, Petaluma Police Department responded to 7 Eleven at 5300 Old Redwood Hwy. for a report of an armed robbery that had just occurred. A store employee reported a suspect entered the business and displayed a semi-automatic firearm. The suspect demanded money from the employee and fled the store on foot with an undisclosed amount. The suspect was described as white male adult, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, grey sweat pants, and black/white high-top shoes. The suspect was further described as wearing a maroon ski mask. It is unknown if the suspect was associated with any vehicles.
Numerous Petaluma Police Officers checked the area for the suspect but were unsuccessful.
The Petaluma Police Department is asking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect. Anyone with information regarding the identity of the suspect is encouraged to notify Petaluma Police Officer Estrella by phone, 707-778-4372.
