On Monday 09/18/2017 in Jonesboro, Renaldo Dennard Burns, forcibly made entry into a residence by kicking in the door and shooting twice terrorizing a female victim who was home inside.  Burns then took the victim’s purse which contained all of her cash fled the scene. 

A warrant for home invasion was subsequently issued by the Clayton County Police Department, that same day.  

Yesterday,  Sheriff Victor Hill's elite Fugitive Squad located Burns at a hotel on Old National Highway.  When Burns saw them he did not fire a weapon, but took off running instead.   Unfortunately for Burns, his cardiovascular conditioning was not sufficient enough to facilitate an escape and he is now facing the wall at Georgia's toughest para-military jail.
