The NJDOT has scheduled a meeting for residents tonight at Knowlton Township Elementary School from 6:00-8:00 pm regarding their plans for a Route 46 interchange reconstruction project. The project, which is currently in the "concept development" stage, will consist of full depth reconstruction of all the existing pavement along Route 46 and resurfacing various ramps at the I-80, Route 46, and Route 94 interchange and is not scheduled to begin until 2021. More information including start dates, traffic impacts and construction duration will be made available by the NJDOT as the project advances. All Knowlton residents are invited to attend tonight.
