Earlier today two male juveniles in a stolen vehicle tried to elude Jonesboro Police and ended up in a head on collision with a Police Officer.  Both male juveniles fled on foot and fired shots in the direction of the Officer that chased them on foot.

Sheriff's Deputies and Clayton PD Officers arrived on the scene with tracking dogs and PD provided air support with a helicopter (The Falcon).  The tracking dogs picked up a scent and tracked the male juveniles to a warehouse hiding in the back of a box truck.   Both juveniles were taken into custody and after searching the woods, the firearm was located.

The Jonesboro Officer involved in the accident escaped without injury.
