On 09/17/17 at approximately 12:27 A.M., an officer of the Janesville Police Department initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle near the intersection of Park Ave. and Wilson St. for an equipment violation.
The driver, Tammy Goede, displayed signs of impairment during the contact. Goede submitted to standardized field sobriety tests and failed. Goede admitted to alcohol and drug use. She was subsequently arrested for OWI-4th Offense. Goede had 3 prior alcohol-related convictions on her driving record.
Goede submitted to an evidentiary chemical testing of her blood. The results of that test are pending. Goede was further evaluated by a Drug Recognition Expert. Goede was held for court at the Rock County Jail.
