Arrest of Burglary Suspects
Camarillo Detectives, with the assistance of the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office Special Crimes Unit, the Camarillo Special Enforcement Unit and the Ventura County Sheriff’s S.W.A.T. team, arrested the above listed suspects for committing a residential burglary, in Camarillo.
On 08-12-17, Camarillo patrol deputies responded to a burglary where two unknown males entered a residence and stole property. An occupant of the residence returned home while the suspects were inside the residence and both suspects fled the residence with property belonging to the occupant. The resident was able to provide deputies with video surveillance of the incident, which led to the identification of (S) Robert Reeves and (S) Robert Davis.
On 09-07-17, detectives from the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office Special Crimes Unit assisted by the Sheriff’s S.W.A.T. Team, Camarillo Detectives and the Camarillo Special Enforcement Unit executed a search warrant at a residence, in the City of Camarillo. During the execution of the search warrant, (S) Reeves was contacted and taken into custody for PC 459- Burglary, PC 182(a)(1)- Conspiracy to Commit a Crime, PC 186.22- Street Terrorism and outstanding felony warrants. Reeves, who was arrested without incident, is in-custody and his bail is set at $500,000.
On 9-12-17, Camarillo Detectives contacted (S) Davis at the Pre-Trial Detention Facility, where he was in-custody for unrelated charges. Davis was also arrested for PC 459- Burglary, PC 182(a)(1)- Conspiracy to Commit a Crime and PC 186.22- Street Terrorism. Davis remains in- custody and his bail is set at $125,000.
