Pomona Major Crimes Task Force and SWAT Serve Search Warrant; Recover loaded Firearm and Narcotics, 1 Arrested

SUSPECT: Javier Frausto, 37 years old, Pomona Resident

NARRATIVE:
On September 15, 2017 at approximately 6:00 AM, members of the Pomona Police Department’s Major Crimes Task Force and Pomona Police SWAT served a search warrant at a residence on the 1400 block of Ashport St., in the City of Pomona.
During the search warrant, Officers recovered a loaded .20 gauge shotgun, a 1/2 ounce of methamphetamine, and several live ammunition rounds. Javier Frausto, 37, who was contacted inside of the residence, was arrested on suspicion of 11370.1 PC – Possession of a Controlled Substance and Firearm and 29800(b) PC-Felon in Possession of a Firearm. Frausto was booked at the Pomona City Jail.
