The Newark Police Department is releasing information about recent crime and police activity within our community. 
September 14th
0841 Hours: Officer Fredstrom contacted and arrested a 35 year old male (transient) for possessing drug paraphernalia and an outstanding warrant. He was booked into Fremont City Jail.
1341 Hours: Officer Fredstrom contacted and arrested a 31 year old male (transient) for possessing drug paraphernalia and two outstanding warrants. He was booked into Santa Rita Jail.
1500 Hours: Officer Herbert investigated an auto burglary in the area of Rochelle Ave.
1633 Hours: Officer Fredstrom contacted and arrested a 36 year old male out of Hayward for being under the influence of a controlled substance. He was booked into Santa Rita Jail.
September 12th
0907 Hours: Officer D. Johnson contacted and arrested a 52 year old female out of Newark for an outstanding warrant. She was issued a citation and released at the scene.
