ROAD CLOSURES FOR COMMUNITY EVENTS TAKING PLACE ON SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 16, 2017. 
Road Closures for upcoming events in our area will include:
The Islip Homecoming Parade will take place on Saturday, September 16, 2017 from 12 PM to 1:30 PM. Main Street will be closed from South Bay Avenue to Degnon Blvd.
The Brentwood Homecoming Parade will take place on Saturday, September 16, 2017 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. Third Avenue will be closed from Stein Drive to 2nd Street. 2nd Avenue will be closed from Third Avenue to Brentwood Road. Brentwood Road will be closed from 2nd Avenue to 7th Avenue. Sixth Avenue will be closed from Brentwood Road to the High School.
Motorists are advised to avoid these areas and to expect delays.
