Berkeley Police Ask For Community's Assistance

On the eve of Berkeley’s next politically charged rally, the Berkeley Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with a robbery and assault which occurred during the April 15, 2017 protest.   

At approximately 12:00pm, the victim was live streaming the protest in the area of Civic Center Park when a group of people attacked him and stole his cellphone.  The person pictured here has been identified by the victim as one of the people who assaulted him.
