#031 Reckless Driving
At 6:50 p.m., Sgt. Miller was patrolling the Ardenwood area when he on-viewed a car doing donuts on Campus Ct/Dumbarton Ci. The 21 year old driver was cited for reckless driving and released at the scene.

#015 Strong Arm Robbery (Chain Snatch)
At 2:33 p.m., a 51 year old female Victim was in the 33100 block of Lark Way and while standing out in front of the house a female suspect jumped out of a vehicle and ripped her chain and locket from her neck.  The suspect got back into the vehicle (blue smaller Ford sedan) and drive away towards Lowry. Investigated by Officer Stiers.

Suspect #1: Black female, 20s, tall, short hair, wearing a brown shirt and jeans, smoking a cigarette.
 
Suspect #2: Black male adult, 20s, full beard, wearing a white shirt.
 
#032 Identity Theft
A reporting party from the 800 block of Praderia Ci called FPD stating he had suspect info on a person using his identity to rent an apartment in Fremont. The reporting party met with Officer Godrich and his FTO Officer Hanrahan in the FPD lobby where a report was initiated.

#013, 034, 035 Auto Burglaries
Three Auto Burglaries reported between 8:35 p.m., and 9:19 p.m. all from the Ranch 99 Market on Fremont Blvd and Paseo Padre.  The suspect vehicle was possibly a white or cream 4-door Honda or similar. A second victim stated the suspect vehicle was a black F150. Suspects were described as two black male adults in their mid 20’s, 5’06 – 5’07, thin build. One suspect was wearing a red sports jacket and the other was wearing a gray jacket with a white stripe across the front.

#003 Public Intoxication Arrest
At 12:12 a.m., Officer Wong arrested a 39 year old female, Fremont resident after she was banging on a residents front door in the 1100 block of Alder Ct.  She was booked at Santa Rita Jail.

#010 Suspended License and False Registration Tabs
At 9:12 a.m., Officer Balcorta and FTO Singh stopped a 40 year old adult male driver in the area of Stevenson Blvd and Gallaudet Dr for having false registration tabs on the vehicle.  In the end, the driver was cited for the false registration tabs as well as for driving on a suspended license.

#007 DUI Collision
At 8:39 a.m., a 44 year old adult male was driving his vehicle in the area of Washington/Fremont when he became impatient with traffic.  He attempted to pass between two vehicles colliding with one causing a non-injury accident.  Officer Franchi arrived on scene and determined he was under the influence of heroin and placed him under arrest for DUI-drugs.  He was booked into Santa Rita Jail.

#027 Hit and Run
Officers are dispatched to Fremont Blvd/ Sundale Dr for an injury collision involving three vehicles. It is quickly determined that one of the drivers of the involved vehicles fled the scene prior to our arrival. Traffic Officer Gregory takes over the investigation and the suspect was not located. At 9:23 p.m., the suspect came to the lobby and turned himself in. The suspect stated he was in shock which is why he walked away from the crash and suddenly had chest pains when Officer Gregory informed him he was under arrest. The suspect was taken to a hospital for medical clearance and cited for hit and run.

#033 Drunk in Public
At 10:50 p.m., Officer Fullenbach was dispatched to the 34100 block of Fremont Blvd. for a patron that is intoxicated and threatening to fight an employee.  Officers contact a 61 year old adult male and quickly determine he is extremely intoxicated. The suspect is placed under arrest for public intoxication and booked into Santa Rita Jail.

#035 Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance
At 9:00 p.m., a 47 year old adult male called FPD dispatch and claimed several people were in his motel room trying to attack him. He admits he has been drinking and the suspects are currently hiding under his bed. Officer Paiva contacts the male and quickly determines he is under the influence of a controlled substance. The assault is unfounded and the is arrested for being under the influence and booked into Fremont Jail.

#012 Molestation
At 12:08 p.m., RP called FPD stating a male in a gas station near the area of Warm Springs/Mission had grabbed his juvenile daughter inappropriately.  The suspect left the store on foot and was located by Officer Balacorta and FTO Singh to the rear of Fremont Times Square.  The suspect, a 52 year old adult male, initially took a fighting stance but ultimately complied with the officers and was detained in cuffs.  The suspect was positively identified and arrested.  While seated in the back of the patrol vehicle, the suspect spit on the back of one of our officers multiple times and repeatedly called officers demeaning racial and derogatory slurs.  The suspect was removed from the vehicle, placed in a wrap and spit hood, and transported to Santa Rita.  Scene supervised by Sgt. Magana.  He was arrested for lewd and lascivious acts with a child <14 and for a probation violation.

#020 Unlicensed Driver
At 5:32 p.m., Officer Rose conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle without license plates in the area of Blackstone Way and Darwin Drive.  During a consensual search, several open containers of alcohol were located next to the driver’s seat.  The 18 year old Salinas resident was arrested/cited for driving without a license, failure to provide insurance, no registration and possession of an open container.

#022 Probation Search
Officer Vucurevich conducted a probation search on a 34 year old adult male at his residence in the 37900 block of Vallejo Street.    As officers were preparing to make contact at the residence, Officer Vucurevich sees the male near the residence and detains him.  The probation search yielded a loaded revolver.  The 34 year old was arrested for felon in possession of a firearm, receiving known stolen property, a probation violation and possession of prohibited ammo.

#023 and #025 Possession of Stolen Property
Officer Perry conducted a traffic stop on a silver Lexus and a subsequent search of the vehicle yielded a stolen laptop and heroin.  Officer Perry was able to determine who the owner of the laptop was.  The victim advised it was stolen from her vehicle the previous night from Pacific Commons.  Officer Perry arrested three suspects for various charges including driving with a suspended license, possession of a controlled substance and possession of stolen property.

#024 Residential Burglary
A victim arrived home to find his front door forced open in the 3900 block of Trinity Way.  The burglary occurred sometime between 7:00-8:10 p.m. and loss reported was jewelry.  Officers arrived and determined no suspects were still inside.  Officer Latimer investigated the burglary.

#003 Possession for Sales
At 12:36 a.m., officers stopped a vehicle in the area of Auto Mall Pkwy and Grimmer for having expired registration.  As a result of the stop, Officer DeStefano arrested a 25 year old Fremont male for Xanax sales and providing false ID to a police officer.  A 25 year old female also was charged with possession for sales and providing false ID to police. 

#005 Major Injury Collision
At 3:09 a.m., Officers were dispatched to Bluebird Loop for a collision involving a downed motorcyclist.  It was determined the rider collided with a parked car.  Because of the severity of the injuries, a traffic call out was initiated.  Sgt. Samayoa, Officer Shannon and Officer Snow responded.  The motorcyclist was transported to a trauma center.

#P17105683 Outside Assist
Numerous FPD units responded with lights and siren to the Fremont BART station after receiving a call from BART PD that an armed robbery with a firearm had just occurred on a train approaching the station.  FPD units joined up with BART and cleared two trains on the platform.  They learned the suspect had likely exited the train prior to reaching the Fremon station.  BART is the investigating agency for the robbery and the scene was supervised by Sgt. Farmer.

#008 Collision
While the traffic unit was wrapping up a major injury collision investigation that occurred during midnight shift, a collision with an overturned vehicle occurred at Driscoll/Chiltern with an occupant sustaining a laceration to her arm.  Traffic Officer Snow broke from the first investigation and took primary on this traffic collision.

#012 Bicycle Collision
A bicyclist fell from their bike near Fremont/Bayview and sustained visible injuries to his arms.  The crash was investigated by Officer Kwok.

Thunder and rain may have caused power outages in the south end of Fremont.  At approximately 6:30 p.m., signal lights at a number of intersections were not functioning.  PG&E advised approximately 1430 customers were affected.   Sgt. Zambonin and Officer Hanrahan managed the traffic congestion by directing traffic.  Street maintenance was called out to bring out stop signs. 

Service reductions – At approximately 8:15 p.m., Fremont Fire requested our assistance with traffic control in the area of 5-corners as they dealt with possible underground electrical explosions.  We had 8 units assigned to this incident until PG&E arrived at 9:02 p.m.  They determined no road closures were needed and there was no danger to the public.

#026 Petty Theft Arrest
Target security (HUB) arrested a 52 year old adult female for petty theft.  She was arrested on 08/19 for the same.  Officer Berrier responded and took custody of the suspect.  She was transported and booked to Santa Rita Jail.

#002 Outside Agency Assist
Sgt Griese, Officer Rodarte and Officer Koehler responded to Milpitas with the armored Bear Cat.  MPD requested assistance for an armed barricaded suspect.  Our personnel and vehicle returned to Fremont shortly after 2:00 a.m.
