Having the ability to sell items online does have its benefits. In recent years, police around the country have seen a trend of crimes associated with strangers meeting in person to complete transactions that were initiated online. Sometimes those encounters end with an assault and a robbery.  Once you do have a buyer for the item you are selling, avoid meeting at your residence. You can meet your buyer at a local coffee shop, restaurant, or your police station which usually is open twenty four hours a day. Avoid being a victim.
