Voorhees Township, the Voorhees Police Department, Voorhees Public Schools, our Township Engineer, and NJ American Water met today, along with South State Construction, to discuss the replacement of water pipes that will require detours and lane closures on Northgate Drive. Northgate Drive will be limited to one way, one lane traffic from 7 AM to 4 PM beginning Wednesday, September 13, 2017. Buses and cars will be able to pass on Northgate Drive. Voorhees Police Officers will be on scene helping with traffic each day. To avoid the roadwork, please see below for an alternate route. South State Construction and NJ American Water have agreed to restrict roadwork on Rt. 561 at Northgate Drive and on Northgate Drive between Thomas Road and Boundary Lane in the area of the school to 09/21/2017 and 09/22/2017, while school is not in session. 

ALTERNATE ROUTE 
Coming to school in the morning: 
Please take Southgate Drive. 
Southgate Dr. is the street right after Northgate Dr. if you are going southbound (from Voorhees) 
Southbound traffic on 561 from Eagle Plaza, Southgate will be on the left, please make a left. 

Southgate Dr. is the street before Northgate Dr. if you are going northbound (from Berlin) 
Northbound traffic on 561 from Berlin, Southgate will be on the right, please make a right. 

Make a right on Bennett Way at the Stop Sign. 
Make a right on Penn Road at the Stop Sign. 
Make a left onto Thomas Road. 
Take Thomas to Northgate Dr. make a right at the corner of Thomas and Northgate.
Make a right at Boundary Lane. School is on the left. 

Leaving School in the afternoon: 
Go onto Boundary Lane. Make a left at Boundary Ln. and Northgate Dr. 
Take first left at Thomas Rd. 
Make a right at the Stop Sign at Thomas Rd. and Penn Rd. 
Take Penn Rd. and make a left on Bennett Way. 
Make a left onto Southgate Dr. 
Southgate Dr. will take you to Route 561. 

Back to School Night should not be affected and there should be two lane traffic on September 19th from 6:00-8:00 PM. Please remember to park on one side of the street so traffic can flow on that evening.
