The Moore County Sheriff’s Office will hold its annual LEOSA qualifications on Wednesday November 1st 2:00 pm at the Moore County LEO.

    The Moore County Sheriff’s Office will hold its annual Law Enforcement Officer Safety Act (LEOSA) qualifications on Wednesday November 1st 2:00pm at the Moore County LEO Building located at 6921 US Hwy 15/501 Carthage, NC.

    This yearly firearms training and qualification is open to local, campus, state, federal and military law enforcement retirees who wish to be certified to carry concealed under the Law Enforcement Officer’s Safety Act. Qualification includes day and night fire as well as shooting from the standing, kneeling and prone positions.

Interested individuals meeting these requirements should bring the following items to the range:
Law Enforcement Retiree identification
Handgun(s)
Minimum of 60 rounds of ammunition per handgun
Holster for each handgun
Flashlight
Eye protection
Ear Protection
Pen/Paper
Snacks/Drinks
