Clayton County is experiencing some power outages, down trees and down power lines. These conditions are extremely hazardous, and we urge people to avoid driving unless it is an extreme emergency.
Our first responders are subject to these conditions as well, but will respond to your location as soon as safely possible. Some temporary delays in response to your emergency request may be unavoidable.
Chairman Jeffrey E. Turner has ordered all Clayton County Government offices to be closed for non-Public Safety Personnel on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 due to inclement weather. This includes the courthouse and jail visitation.
