The McTeer Bridge in Port Royal is now closed due to high winds associated with Hurricane Irma. Beaufort County residents have already experienced power outages,downed trees and power lines. Weather conditions continue are expected to further deteriorate into this afternoon. Please stay indoors and off of the roadways until the storm passes.
