NWS gas issued wind advisory for Bledsoe Co. from 1:00 AM CST Mon. till Tues. at 10:00 AM CST. Gusts up to 45 mph are possible

Alert:
...Windy Conditions will develop across East Tennessee, southwest
North Carolina, and southwest Virginia...

.The remnants of Hurricane Irma are expected to move NW across
Alabama and Georgia...with windy conditions developing Monday
afternoon through Tuesday morning. North to northeasterly winds
will be 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 40 mph possible in the
Tennessee Valley. In addition wind gusts of over 50 mph will be
possible in the highest peaks of the southern Appalachian
Mountains.

...WIND ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT FROM 2 PM EDT /1 PM CDT/ MONDAY TO
11 AM EDT /10 AM CDT/ TUESDAY...

* EVENT...North to northeasterly winds between 15 and 20 mph with
gusts to 45 mph across East Tennessee and southwest Virginia

* TIMING...Monday afternoon through Tuesday morning

* IMPACTS...The windy conditions may down trees, branches and
power lines. Driving high profile vehicles in these conditions
will be difficult.
