Message from the Office of Emergency Management:

* Flash Flood Warning for...
North central Santa Barbara County in southwestern California
including the Alamo Burn Area...

* Until 700 PM PDT

* At 355 PM PDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms producing
heavy downpours near Figueroa mountain, moving rapidly northwestward
towards the Alamo Burn Area and highway 166. Flash flooding and debris
flows will likely begin shortly.

* Some locations that will likely experience flooding include...
the Alamo Burn Area, Figueroa Mountain, and Highway 166.


Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
