Full Notification

A drug collection box has been installed at the police station where residents can dispose of unused, unwanted, and expired medications.

The following will be accepted:
- prescription and over-the-counter solid medications
-tablets & capsules
-liquid medications in their original containers tightly sealed (i.e. cough syrups, cold medicines)
-prescription patches
-medical creams & ointments
-vitamins
-nasal sprays
-pet medicines

The following are not accepted in the collection box:
-intravenous solutions
-injectables, syringes, needles, epi-pens
-hydrogen peroxide
-iodine-containing medications
-thermometers
-alcohol
-compressed cylinders or aerosols (asthma inhalers)

The collection box is located inside the police station. Please do not place items intended for the collection box in the letter/parking ticket box attached to the wall outside the building.
