9-11 Remembrance Ceremony 
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department- Palmdale and Lancaster Stations will be participating in the annual remembrance ceremony for the terrorists attack on the United States of America which took place on September 11, 2001.
The ceremony is hosted by collaborating Law Enforcement and Fire Department agencies throughout the Antelope Valley. The event will take place at the Antelope Valley Mall which is located at 1233 Rancho Vista Boulevard, Palmdale, CA 93551. We invite every community member to gather with us at 9:00 am to remember, and honor those who lost their lives in the terrorist attacks.
This year’s Master of Ceremony will be Lancaster Station’s Captain Todd Webber. Palmdale Station’s Captain Dennis Kneer will be recognizing the “Fallen Heroes and Surviving Families” of the Antelope Valley. Additionally, Captain Kneer, will pay his respects to our local hero Sergeant Steve Owen who was killed in the line of duty on October 5, 2017. Sergeant Steve Owen’s name will be added to the “Fallen Heroes” memorial pillars which are located at the front of the Antelope Valley Mall.
