Deputies arrest Christopher Williams burglarizing a vehicle on Byron St. and Newbury Avenue

SUSPECT(S): Christopher Williams, age 33 of Highland
VICTIM(S):
SUMMARY: On Thursday, September 7, 2017, at approximately 5:42 a.m., deputies from the Highland Police Department received information of a suspicious subject prowling around in the front yards of residences on Byron Street and Newbury Avenue. When deputies arrived in the area, they located the suspect, Christopher Williams, in the process of burglarizing a vehicle which was parked at the curb. Williams was arrested without incident and transported and booked into the Central Detention Center for vehicle burglary.
The arrest of Christopher Williams was possible because the reporting party saw suspicious activity in their neighborhood and immediately called law enforcement officials.
