*2nd UPDATE* #LASD - WHD Station: Assault with a Deadly Weapon Suspect Kisu Brown **ARRESTED**

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department West Hollywood Station advises they have arrested Kisu Brown. Suspect Brown assaulted a man Saturday, September 2, 2017, in the 7900 block of Santa Monica Boulevard, West Hollywood, at approximately 4:05 a.m., and fled the scene.
 
Deputies from West Hollywood Station saw Suspect Brown near Fairfax Avenue and Santa Monica Boulevard at approximately 9:37 p.m. on Tuesday, September 5, 2017.  They arrested him without incident.
 
Suspect Brown was booked at West Hollywood Station for attempt murder. He is due in court on September 7, 2017 and is being held in lieu of $500,000 bail.

 *UPDATE* #LASD - WHD Station: Assault with a Deadly Weapon Suspect **WANTED** (Photo Attached)
 
West Hollywood Station detectives are continuing their investigation into the assault with a deadly weapon call that occurred Saturday, September 2, 2017, in the 7900 block of Santa Monica Boulevard, West Hollywood, at approximately 4:05 A.M.
 
With the help of the community and through investigative efforts, West Hollywood Detectives have identified the suspect.  The suspect Kisu Bradey Brown is described as a 41 year-old, male, Black, 6’00”, 190 lbs., black hair, and brown eyes.  He is a local transient and frequents the areas of Hollywood and West Hollywood.
 
This suspect should be considered ARMED & DANGEROUS.  If you believe you have seen the suspect, DO NOT make contact.  Please call 9-1-1 or West Hollywood station Sergeant Bishop at (310) 855-8850.

West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station personnel are investigating the circumstances surrounding an “Assault with a Deadly Weapon” call which occurred in the 7900 block of Santa Monica Boulevard, West Hollywood, at approximately 4:05 a.m. today.

 

Responding deputies have learned the suspect, (in the above picture), was stealing items from the location when the victim offered to pay for his items. The suspect became upset, refused the victim’s offer and a struggle ensued. As the victim left the location the suspect pulled out an axe and began to hit him in the head several times. After the assault, the suspect fled the location heading northbound on Hayworth Avenue and out of view.

 

The victim was transported to a local hospital and treated for his injuries.

 

This suspect should be considered ARMED & DANGEROUS. If you believe you have seen the suspect, DO NOT make contact. Please call 9-1-1 or West Hollywood Station at the number listed below.
