Deputy Arrests Burglary Suspect Out on Bail

INCIDENT: PC 459 - Commercial Burglary
LOCATION: 7955 Webster St #4, Highland
SUSPECT: Joshua Rienks, 37yo, Redlands
VICTIM: Albaro's Restaurant
SUMMARY: On Tuesday, September 5, 2017, at approximately 3:21 a.m., Deputy Ramstad was patrolling in the area of Greenspot Rd and Boulder Ave. Dep. Ramstad observed the suspect, who was wearing all black clothing and a mask covering half of his face, lurking near a business in the area and made contact with him. During the investigation, a door to the restaurant was found to have been pried open. The suspect was found to be in possession of burglary tools and lied about his name when he was initially contacted.
The suspect, Joshua Rienks, was found to be on current Post Release Community Supervision for PC 459 - Burglary. In addition, he was found to be out of custody on bail for residential burglary. He was arrested and taken to the Central Detention Center and booked for PC 459 - Commercial Burglary, PC 529(a)(3) - False Impersonation, and PC 12022.1 - Committing an Offense While Released on Bail.
