Avoid Rt 522 in both directions between Kingston Lane and New Road for the next few hours due to downed utility pole. 
There is a downed pole with wires across Rt. 522 at Ridge Road. All travel eastbound on Route 522 is diverted at Ridge Road. Westbound travel on Route 522 is being diverted around the downed pole by using the Ridge Road jughandle.
Motorist can use Major Road as an alternative.
