On 08-31-2017 at 5:00 pm the intersection of East Milwaukee Street and North Wright Rd was closed for repairs. The intersection is being resurfaced and will remain closed until approximately 12:00 pm tomorrow 09-01-2017.

There will be ample access to businesses in the area. We ask that if you are not conducting business in the area to avoid the intersection. If you must travel through that area be mindful of the detour signs, and avoid driving through private business parking lots, as this causes safety concerns.

Please follow the detour listed below,

STAGE 3 (Suffolk Drive to 500’ East of N. Wright Road)
• The intersection of N. Wright Road, E. Milwaukee Street and Mt. Zion Avenue will be CLOSED to traffic while the resurfacing of the intersection area is completed.
• Through traffic on N. Wright Road will be detoured around the closure on Parkview Drive, N. Wuthering Hills Drive, E. Milwaukee Street, Shannon Drive, and Randolph Road.
• N. Wright Road will remain open up to the E. Milwaukee Street intersection such that access to Mercy Clinic East, the Fagan Dealership, the Rock County Honda Dealership, and Johnson Bank will be available from N. Wright Road. Traffic on N. Wright Road will not be allowed to cross E. Milwaukee Street.
• Through traffic on E. Milwaukee Street and Mt. Zion Avenue will be detoured around the closure using Shannon Drive, Randolph Road, and Morningside Drive.
• The East Point Plaza and the BP gas station will be accessible from Mt. Zion Avenue from the west.
