* At 09 AM Thursday the stage was 23.4 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Maximum forecast stage of 36.5 feet Friday September 01.
* Flood stage is 34.0 feet.
* Forecast to rise above flood stage by Thursday August 31 and continue to rise to near 36.5 feet by Friday September 01.The river will fall below flood stage by Saturday September 02.
* At 37.0 feet...Riverside Drive between Jackson and Bemis is closed. &&
* AFFECTED AREAS: MADISON
