The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Warning for the North Fork Forked Deer River...S.F. Fork Forked Deer River...S.F. Forked Deer River. The National Weather Service in Memphis TN has issued a
* Flood Warning for the North Fork Forked Deer River at Dyersburg
* from Thursday August 31 until Sunday September 3.
* At 04 PM Wednesday the stage was...10.8 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Maximum forecast stage of 25.0 feet Friday September 1.
* Flood stage is 22.0 feet.
* Forecast to rise above flood stage by Thursday August 31 and continue to rise to near 25.0 feet by Friday September 1. The river may fall below flood stage by Sunday September 3rd. At 26.0 feet, Flooding is occurring on the south side of dyersburg. Water is flowing over old highway 51 in south dyersburg. &&
* AFFECTED AREAS: DYER
