Flood Advisory until 12:15PM Friday

The National Weather Service in New Orleans has issued a

* Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory for... Northwestern St. Tammany Parish in southeastern Louisiana... Southeastern Tangipahoa Parish in southeastern Louisiana...

* Until 330 AM CDT

* At 223 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding in the advisory area. Up to two inches of rain have already fallen.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Covington and Robert. Additional rainfall of 1 to 2 inches is expected over the area through 330 am. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.

* AFFECTED AREAS: ST. TAMMANY

Instructions:

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
