Full Notification

On August 3, a 911 call came in reporting a woman in labor at her home in Rowland Heights. Because it was a medical emergency, the call was forwarded to Fire and Deputy Brett Murray went to the residence as backup. Fortunately for all involved he arrived before Fire was able to get there, as the mother was in advanced labor and about to give birth in the garage. Deputy Murray took immediate control, and with the father close by, delivered the baby in the back seat of the minivan. Fire arrived shortly thereafter and transported the happy parents and a healthy baby boy to the hospital. Parents decided on Walden as a name for the baby. Not sure if they chose Brett as the middle name.
