Incidents 311 Reports 36

#004 Commercial Burglary
Unknown suspect(s) used a metal cutting wheel to cut the locks off of two storage sheds in the 39000 block of Sundale Dr.  Loss was tools.  Several other locked storage sheds on the property were not burglarized.   

#011 Commercial Burglary
Unknown suspect(s) used a torch to cut open a metal storage container at a construction site, located in the 40000 block of Fremont Blvd.  The loss was tools and construction materials.  This was the second time the construction site was burglarized in the last two weeks.

#025 Brandishing a Weapon
At 6:20 p.m., officers were sent to the area of Stevenson and Besco to investigate a possible brandishing case with a chainsaw.  The reporting party claimed he was riding his bike on the sidewalk on the southbound side of Besco Dr. when he got into a verbal altercation with another man.  The verbal altercation escalated when the suspect began chasing the bicyclist with a chainsaw in his hand threatening to harm him.  The bicyclist was able to ride away.  The suspect was described as a Hispanic male in his 30’s wearing a white tank top and khaki shorts.  This case is being investigated by Officer Taylor.

#003 DUI Arrest
At 12:56 a.m., Officer Madsen initiated a traffic stop in the area of Fremont Blvd and Chapel Way.  The driver was not licensed.  Officers recognized signs and symptoms of intoxication.  After a field sobriety test and PAS test, the 26 year old male driver was arrested for DUI. 

#002 Possession of a Controlled Substance Arrest
At 11:56 p.m., Officer Kerner responded to Lemke Pl to investigate a suspicious circumstance call.  During a consensual search of a vehicle, a 36 year old adult female was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.   She was also determined to be a reported missing person from Redwood City and was removed from the Missing Persons Database.
