Flash Flood Warning until 01:30PM

The National Weather Service in New Orleans has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for... Southwestern St. John The Baptist Parish in southeastern Louisiana... St. James Parish in southeastern Louisiana... Southwestern St. Charles Parish in southeastern Louisiana... Northeastern Terrebonne Parish in southeastern Louisiana... Northwestern Lafourche Parish in southeastern Louisiana... Northeastern Assumption Parish in southeastern Louisiana...

* Until 130 PM CDT

* At 1129 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Houma, Thibodaux, Napoleonville, Larose, Reserve, Hahnville, Gramercy, Lutcher, Lockport, Mathews, Schriever, Garyville, Boutte, Supreme, Raceland, Chackbay, Bayou Cane, Killona, Paradis and Gray. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area.

* AFFECTED AREAS: ASSUMPTION ... LAFOURCHE ... ST. CHARLES ... ST. JAMES ... ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST ... TERREBONNE
