Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide detectives are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of a man that was discovered on Friday, August 25, 2017, at approximately 8:00 a.m., in the 37600 block of Patty Court, Palmdale.
 
Detectives have learned that Palmdale deputy personnel responded regarding an “open door” at the location.  Upon arrival deputy personnel entered the location, and found a male Black adult unconscious on the floor.
 
Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel responded, and pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
 
The death of the victim does not appear to be natural causes, and is being treated as a homicide.  Preliminary investigations were believed to be that of a stabbing, although homicide detectives have yet to determine the exact cause of death.
 
There is no additional information available at this time, and the investigation is on-going.

NARRATIVE:
Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide detectives are responding to investigate the stabbing death of a male adult. The incident occurred on Friday, August 25, 2017, at approximately 8:50 a.m., in the 37600 block of Patty Court, Palmdale.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
