Crime Advisory - Armed Robbery

Armed Robbery

2400 Block of Prospect Street

BPD Case # 17-049021
 
On Sunday, August 20, 2017 at approximately 12:53 a.m. a female, affiliation unknown, was walking in the 2400 block of Prospect when she was approached by a male suspect.  The suspect was armed with a gun and demanded the victim’s property.  The suspect took the victim’s cell phone and was last seen fleeing northbound on Prospect.  The victim was not physically injured during the robbery.  BPD searched the area but could not locate the suspect.
 
The suspect was described as:
 
A Black male adult, 6’2” in height, with a thin build, wearing a navy blue sweatshirt, black t-shirt and navy blue jeans.
